The <strong>scabbard<\/strong> now has a <strong>wooden core<\/strong> underneath the leather exterior. The grip features leather that is dimpled using a historically authentic &#8220;<strong><em>wet-wrap<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; process, during which fine cord is tightly wrapped around a wet leather grip. When it&#8217;s dry, the cord is removed and the leather is left attractively indented and provides improved texture and grip.<\/p>\n<p>This <strong>Knightly German Bastard sword<\/strong> features a <strong>long<\/strong>, slightly hollow ground <strong>blade<\/strong> and simple straight guard. The <strong>classic steel wheel pommel<\/strong> is etched with an <strong>abstract<\/strong>, perfectly <strong>symmetrical<\/strong> floral <strong>symbol<\/strong>.
