The <strong>short<\/strong> <strong>sword<\/strong> length blade was perfect as a close combat weapon. It originated in the Georgian Republic of Russia but was best known as a <strong>Cossack weapon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>blade<\/strong> is <strong>forged from 1065 high carbon steel<\/strong> with a <strong>darkened, battle-hardened finish<\/strong>, <strong>full tang<\/strong>, and <strong>tempered<\/strong> to a low 50&#8217;s RC. The fine point and a central fuller give this sword a light, lively feel.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>hands-on nature of the manufacturing<\/strong> by <strong>master smiths<\/strong> makes this <strong>line unique<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Includes a <strong>matching scabbard<\/strong> with belt stop, and <strong>certificate of authenticity<\/strong> signed by each smith that touched your blade through every step of the forging process.
